Training Delivery Format = Online/On Demand (Asynchronous).  Substance User Disorder (SUD) is a condition that affects millions of people living in the U.S. today. Individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities experience substance abuse at a higher rate. Guiding and mentoring the individuals we support to healthy connections with family, friends, and the community is one of the best tools to overcoming an SUD. Learners will be provided with valuable information regarding risk factors, signs and symptoms, commonly abused substances, plus screening and treatment for SUD to effectively encourage and support those with Substance Use Disorder to live a healthy lifestyle.
