According to the Center for Creative Leadership/CCL “trust is nonnegotiable.” Spend a hour discussing, learning about building a foundation for trust i.e., - promoting a team/work culture marked by (psychological) safety and leader practices that value versus devalue others.

Objectives
• A framework (Safe + Valued = Trust) that promotes leader practices that build/strengthen a foundation of trust.
• The effects of a safe (i.e., positive, inclusive, empowering) versus unsafe work environment on trust.
• The effects of valuing versus devaluing others (e.g., dismissive, underrating, punitive, unavailable/aloof) on trust.
