This series consists of three 50–60-minute modules on the topic of team engagement and practices, actions, and strategies leaders can employ. There are several ‘levers’ of engagement leaders can employ with their teams including the (initial) two – Empowerment and a building A Positive, Constructive Work Climate in the series.
Module 3 Culture is essential to engagement. The culture of a team (and the organization) is a lynchpin factor in the level of employee engagement. This module looks at team culture-building as a lever of engagement. Culture matters.
Objectives
- The effect of a positive, constructive team culture/climate on engagement – and disengagement
- Key attributes of a positive, constructive team culture/climate versus a toxic climate.
- Leadership practices/behaviors that support building a positive, constructive team climate (culture).
