Training Delivery Format = Online/On Demand (Asynchronous).  Medication has a significant impact on an individual’s overall health, behavior, well-being and their ability to prevent, combat and treat disease.  This course is focused on the information needed to safely and accurately perform the critical tasks needed to administer medication to the individuals you serve.  The learner must successfully complete medication training including: reading a printable module of information that follows an online presentation, practical coursework, instructional videos and resources.  You must pass a 25 question assessment of your knowledge with a score of 80% or better. Training Delivery Format = Online/On Demand (Asynchronous).  This interactive course leads learners through seven modules related to best practices of documentation. Topics include understanding Medicaid Streams of Funding and Documentation Basics. Additionally, the learner will be able to accurately complete an Incident Report, a Healthcare Chronological, an Appointment Information Record, a Community Living Support Log, and common Data Sheets. After the initial certification, this course can be used as a refresher or supplemental training by Direct Support Professionals and Managers.  This course is valid for three (3) years. Read more

Training Delivery Format = Online/On Demand (Asynchronous).  The intent of this course is to set and implement all of our access standards, conduct all of our programs, and perform all of our services in a manner that recognizes the language limitations of those we support. This course will instruct learners on how to identify who qualifies as an individual with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) and how to fulfill their legal responsibilities to assist individuals with LEP. Important laws enacted to protect civil rights and Americans with Disabilities will be reviewed to enable the learner to properly engage in best practices to support those with LEP.  This course is valid for 3 years. Learn the causes, preparation, and responses to possible emergencies due to fire, weather, driving, poisoning, and power/water outages. Good practices lead to good emergency responses. The ability to teach, demonstrate and practice these vital skills with those we support will help them prevent, prepare for, and respond to a variety of emergencies with the confidence and skill to stay healthy and safe. It provides foundational principles of developing and strengthening supportive relationships as a strategy to reduce challenges and build a foundation for growth and healing. Emphasis on elements that can lead to others feeling safer and more valued, how one’s trauma history can influence behavior, planning proactively to reduce stress and challenges, the value of supporting all involved, key strategies and coping strategies for addressing challenging behavior, and effective ways to maintain a caring and supportive approach in the face of these challenges.
